Rachel’s Tears by Beth Nimmo & Darrell Scott
RACHEL SCOTT was a typical teenage girl who was incredibly dedicated to following and serving Christ. Though she was mocked for her beliefs, at times doubted her faith, she remained faithful to God. Then on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School, she was killed for that faith. Rachel’s Tears is a moving meditation on the life, death, and faith of Rachel as seen through the eyes of her parents and through writings and drawings from her journals.

“The Purpose-Driven Life ” by Rick Warren..
New York Times #1 Bestseller,2002. One week before my wife and I left Singapore for New Zealand, our nephew came to our house and gave us a farewell present. It was a book called “The Purpose-Driven Life ”.
The book is basic Christian doctrine [theology ],written in simple English in a nice easy style which almost anybody can understand. If you ever wondered what Paul was talking about in those letters he wrote to the Romans,Galatians,Corinthians,Colossians and so on,then wonder no more.
As soon As Jim ’s mother-in-law stepped into the house, she saw the book lying on the dining table.“Hey ”,she said “Some-one in Singapore told me he read the book and it changed his life ”.“Did it change your life?” she asked me.. I could not answer because I had not yet . nished reading the book. But now I can say “Will it change my life?”.Of course it will. That ’s FAITH.Know what God said.Understand it.Remember it.BELIEVE it. And God himself will change your life.-Tong Gan

Eyes of the Tailess Animals is a book about the prison memoirs of a North Korean woman named Soon Ok Lee. This is a book about triumphant faith. It has certainly inspired me that these faithful believers trust in God was so great that they can endure any tremendous physical and mental torture, even horrendous death. They accept, not resent, pain and persecution because God is with them. Truly the most shocking true-life story I have ever read. Only God can shed hope in the lives of these people. - Penny Tong
